Department of Radiodiagnosis provides diagnostic and interventional facilities. The visionis toestablish a state-of-the-art department with aim of having recognition at national and international level for excellence in medical imaging and interpretation, advances in imaging research and academics.The department is involved in academics routinely with a teaching program comprising of weekly seminars,case discussions and journal club.The main goals areto provide optimal patient care in a friendly environment, to provide the highest standards of diagnostic imaging & interventional services at a reasonable cost and to bring the department at par with the bestin patient care, medical education, teaching and basic researchin the country.

Department of Radiodiagnosis is equipped with high-end machines and includes the following:

        • Ultrasound machine: 1
        • Color Doppler (2D & 3D):1
        • Diagnostic Radiography units:

.Digital X-ray (1000 mAs DR system) with flat panel detector:1

.Mobile high frequency X-ray: 1

.CR unit: 1

        • Multi-slice (256-slice) Computed Tomography (CT) Scanner: 1
        • 3 Tesla Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Scanner: 1

 

Planning of new equipments to be installed:

    • 4D Ultrasound machine
    • Digital Radiography &Fluoroscopy Machine.
    • Digital Mammography Machine.
