Academics and Teaching:  

The educational efforts are directed towards undergraduate & postgraduate teaching in gross anatomy, microscopic anatomy, embryology and neuroanatomy. Also continuing  teaching of postgraduate students of other/clinical departments as a part of Vertical Integration to strengthen their basics and hands-on workshops to enhance their skills. We added Anatomage (Virtual Dissection Table), 3-D Atlas along with other innovative teaching learning methods for the better understanding of the subject. We have established a well-equipped dissection hall, microscopy laboratory, Anatomage lab, Foetal Research lab, Museum and Research laboratory in the department.

Vision: 

• To be an active partner in the institute’s effort to surmount in teaching and research and to impart a strong conceptual and relevant factual knowledge of Anatomy to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
• To impart Clinical Skills to the students by various innovative teaching-learning methods. Steps have been taken in this regard and planning of introducing the Living Anatomy in the Curriculum & Cadaveric skill lab has been initiated.
